Navigating the world of maid hiring can raise a lot of questions. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions to provide you with all the information you need.

The passport processing typically requires approximately one month to complete.

Upon confirmation of the candidate, the hiring process typically spans 2-3 months. However, the timeframe is variable and contingent on numerous factors, rendering the process duration subjective.

Should the housemaid fail her FOMEMA medical examination in Malaysia, the agency will facilitate an appeal, with the success rate contingent upon the nature of the medical issues. In the event of a successful appeal, the agency will proceed with obtaining the work permit. However, if the appeal proves unsuccessful, the employer will need to return the housemaid to the agency for repatriation arrangements.

The employer must file a police report and forward it to the agency. Subsequently, the agency will notify the overseas agency and the housemaid's family, and also report the incident to the relevant authorities.

Immigration primarily evaluates the employer's active income and the purpose of hiring the housemaid. Acceptable reasons include household chores for a large residence, caring for young children, or tending to elderly or ill individuals.
