What's the timeframe for the housemaid to obtain her passport from her home country?

The passport processing typically requires approximately one month to complete.

What is the duration of the process to recruit a housemaid?

Upon confirmation of the candidate, the hiring process typically spans 2-3 months. However, the timeframe is variable and contingent on numerous factors, rendering the process duration subjective.

What happens if the housemaid fails her FOMEMA medical examination?

Should the housemaid fail her FOMEMA medical examination in Malaysia, the agency will facilitate an appeal, with the success rate contingent upon the nature of the medical issues. In the event of a successful appeal, the agency will proceed with obtaining the work permit. However, if the appeal proves unsuccessful, the employer will need to return the housemaid to the agency for repatriation arrangements.

What should I do if the housemaid escapes from my household?

The employer must file a police report and forward it to the agency. Subsequently, the agency will notify the overseas agency and the housemaid's family, and also report the incident to the relevant authorities.

What are the primary factors that Immigration considers when evaluating my application for approval?

Immigration primarily evaluates the employer's active income and the purpose of hiring the housemaid.
